WMU Catalogue

Below Is a collection of pieces I created while completing my undergrad at Western Michigan University. The Majority of pieces were designed and fabricated by myself alone. There are ones noted that were collaborations.

A Stool designed for use in my woodshop next to my workbench. The first but not the last stool I have ever made.

A collaborative Coffee Table between myself, Jon Saha, and Eleanor Holister. I Designed the overall shape and proportions. Eleanor Carved delicate vines into the exposed sides, and Jon Fabricated the metal base

A workbench I designed and fabricated for myself during my final semester in the program. It has proven to be an MVP in every rendition of my woodshop since

A small display cabinet designed for my younger brother to store his watches and colognes

Internal dividers to hold different watch and cologne boxes as well as adjustable shelves. Below, Sliding trays

A record cabinet and matching speaker set I designed and fabricated for myself. Sadly, during the end of my undergrad I sold it to pay for future projects and ramen noodles

Tage Frid reproduction stools that myself, my fellow apprentices, and teacher all made together. It gave me greater insight into design parameters and fabricating joinery around compound angles.

A coffee Table that stands as a milestone to myself. The first piece I ever sold.

the two slabs that make up the top are held together by internal dovetail shaped battens. At the time, this design and aesthetic was a first for me but over time it has become second nature.

As a designer this live edge on the inside approach gives me the best of both worlds. I put the live edge of the tree on display by making it the center of piece. It then allows me to shape the overall edges as I please to whatever shape my client wants
